Welcome Readers to the second edition of the Azerothian Addict!

Ironman Challenge Continues

http://www.caz-world.com/nf/paper/issue_1/ironmanmini.png

The challenge: as many heroics in 12hrs as possible.

Last month the record was set to be smashed, well, Cookie Crumbles were ready..set...oh...hehe. Yes, the attempt at Ironman last month turned into more of a Tinman, however, deserves a lot of credit.

Since the early days of turning holy I have had a fear of 2 heroics, mainly from attempting the Trial Quests, and failing miserably. Shattered Halls and Shadow Labs. Now many people would look at me and ask...laugh..."hahahaha they are easy" well, yes, now I have to admit they are.

Id have never have thought they would go so well, Timed Shattered Halls run (no savagery drop, w00t next Shattered halls is run no. 60) we still had 10mins to spare if I recall correctly.

Shadow Labs, didnt start off so well, in clearing to the first boss Blahaims & Plodders had to get ready for the work summer ball (personally think Heroic MgT would be much more fun).

Special tnx to Acorna who stepped in for Dalf ^_^, Chemo and Brutis who stepped in for Blahaims and Plodders.

Stay tunned to Looking for Groups forums for Septembers run ^_^ I just need to get to Uni and find out when Im free first \o/

Role Play Story of the Month

http://www.caz-world.com/nf/paper/issue_2/roleplay.png

This month submitted by Carawn

With wild abandon, Musen launched herself into the portal at Steamvaults, playfully chasing her namesake, Nesum, into the instance. Shaking his head, Carawn approached in a maner that far more befitted his stately appearance, before letting the elves down completely by uttering a yell of joy and executing a neat somersault into the misty shroud.

Landing on top of Palmina was perhaps less dignified than it might have been, and standing on Drooga's toes as he sought to rectify that error was not perhaps the best thing he could have done. Fortunately a large soft rock was to hand, and Carawn sank back gracefully against it before realising it was staring at him. "Do you mind", said Chemodruid, raising an extremely large paw and aiming a playful swipe at the recumbent elf.

"Eek!" said Carawn, who stumbled as he came to his feet and ended up being caught by Nesum. Gazing up into her liquid eyes, Carawn felt himself drifting away into the depths, before an "Ahem!" from Drooga reminded him that they were not alone. That ...and the rather pointy dagger he was twirling around the fingers of one hand. "Ouch!", yelped Carawn.

Softy giggled as Carawn leapt to his feet, looked around and then ran off in a hurry, having realised that Musen had decided that perhaps she could go and play with the denizens of the Steamvaults if no one was going to pay attention to her.

Ok, no more rp writing, but I just wanted to give a feel of the sheer sense of fun that I had in SV. Having just completed Old Hillsbrad, Tankers had had to leave because of the higher level needed for Steamvault, and Softy had stepped in to take her place. Other than that it was going to be two instances in one night for the rest of the motley crew - some of whom were extremely tired, but were hanging in there anyway because they were just damned nice people.

The battles were great, and the action as packed as you might like. I gradually got better at dishing out punishment. After a long time spent solo, it was surprisingly hard to get back into a group mentality.

I realise I need to get a few macros created warning people that I'm ok, for example, and will be laying a trap in a moment, so no need to rush in to save me, as a few traps got broken like that because I wasn't telling people what I was doing. I must try and sort out some way of getting TS going.

The final battles with Warlord Kalithresh were totally intense. I think I might have had about 10 health left when I finally took him down with an arrow with the bodies of my friends strewn about me, but boy was that some fight. We were all tired, but we all left with a real buzz that night.

Thanks again to everyone :)

Leghumper and the Gnomes

http://www.caz-world.com/nf/paper/issue_2/leghumper.png

For those of you who didnt have the pleasure of meeting Leghumper, im sure he'd be very happy to introduce himself, providing you have nice legs. Well, no, thats not exactly true, he'd just be happy to introduce himself.

The fun challenge was issued, we knew it had been done before, but not Nightfall style. Gnome race to the legend himself Hogger.

We took him down a few times, to help those questing, mainly cause we stole their quest mob, and because RARRR we were kings & queens of the PvP gnomes. Thats right, we did it on a PvP server. We only got ganked once, and have the footage of my poor PvP gnome lock Sophina biting the dust during that ganking. Some of us were not that lucky, one fell into some lava, another dueled a lvl 70 (and fled!), and another was ganked by a load of horde while trying to get out of blackrock mountain ^_^

However, it was all good fun, so where next? Well, heres the thing, I was wondering...it only took us 2hrs to make gnomes, corpse camp run all the way to Hogger, spank him a few times then hearth back...how long would it take a team of PvP Gnome's to get through the dark portal and to Shattrath?

Now I dont suppose many of us still have our gnomes from the last time, and some werent available or even here for the last event but....stay tuned in looking for group section for more info =]

An Interview with our Guild Leader

http://www.caz-world.com/nf/paper/issue_2/exi.png
Name: Exinas
Occupation: Nightfall Guild Leader
Class: Druid (feral)

When did you first join Nightfall, and what brought you to our community?
Noj and I merged with OLD, Ginnunga & Nightfall to have enought people to do the bigger instances. When that broke, Nightfall were nice enough to keep them both so they stayed.

Whats the funniest moment you ever experienced on WoW?
There have been so many its hard to pick a favourite, all Leerrrooyyyy moments, like all tanks and healers running out of an instance to leave all the dps there.

What was your favourite "OMG pewpewpew awesome" experience in Nightfall?
I think Curator down for the first time after months of trying, I was soo happy.

We all hear "Druids are Over Powered" what do you think?
YEAH! REALLY OP! Druids are one of the only classes that can be OP in all three aspects, can be REALLY OP in everything.

What do you think Pie or Cake?
OMG, only PIE!!!!! As for favourite flavour, give me all the pie!

What is your favourite boss to Tank and why?
Shadow Labs second boss is really fun, when you try to kill each other. I like the ones where you have to look out for something, where you have to move around and keep an eye out.

Similarly, which boss do you hate the most?
Its hard to say, because even though Nightfall havent been there yet (we will do, its only a matter of persistence), have to say A'lar is a real pain, and Lotross the Blind in SSC is a pain in the butt too.

If you were an a can of soup which flavour would you be?
I dont know, chicken I suppose, but I dont like soup so I really dont know.

And finally, as a Druid, what animal would you like get as a new transformation in the new expansion and why?
Haha, I really dont know, a cute little dog or something, I havent thought about it.

(after a few minutes of conversation) it would bark, and who you were barking at would become a postman and you could chase them around a bit.

Big thanks to Exi for being such a great sport with this ^_^ and she'd just like to add:

I really like Nightfall, its Nightfall all the way because we're special and awesome and uber.

Guild Challenges Issued

There have been a number of challenges issued in the past, Tions challenge for Heroic Arca (http://www.eternalnightfall.co.uk/showthread.php?t=5102) and Im sure there was one issued for heroic MgT just to name a couple.

Well, Tion, hope you are ready to hear it ^_^ just yesterday, Hammeer, Greiga, Chemohunter, Bodo & myself, took on that challenge. Ok, so we took it on because it was the heroic daily, but still, full guild group and full Arca clear.

Guess that means that we have a heroic MgT left, lets get cracking guys ^_^
