Its been brought to my attention that I have apparently been whispering members on an alt today.

Telling them of some runs that I am planning later in the week.

Offering them a nice link to a site for gold if they need pots and stuffs....

...ofc this is not me....I do not endorce gold spammers or farmers in anyway!

For the record my toons in full are:

Huntargh (soon to be leaving us to leave space for a DK)

I have not given anyone my account details, and have changed my password (on the offchance).

But please be aware, no-one in Nightfall will endorce gold selling, ask them only something we would know, name of our raiding channel, last raiding time for maiden or even who is the randy french man?

To the gold spammer: If you tarnish my name you will be tracked down and forcefed beetroot till ur pruple!

No, mainly because it effects everyone. From current members, to ex-members, friends and future applicants.

I really dont mind people knowing my toon names, Ill put them in my signature if it will help things (its getting a revamp soon anyways).

Its very underhanded and a nasty thing todo...also if im late logging in its forgotten my new password, or even that ive changed it.

I was having the same problem 3 days ago - as far as I know it wasnt a goldseller, just someone in SW claiming to be my alt....

I didnt see it myself but was whispered by another player who told me about it. Ofc I changed my password too, but I never figured out what the purpose of misusing my name should be. Obviously he claimed more main-names than just mine and was asking to be reported..... I figured it might be someone on a hacked account who wanted to get someone else banned?

Anyway - I've got the name of the char and will be keeping an eye out for spammers who claim they've got an alt....
