Ironman Challenge Begins

Knowing how mad some Nightfall members are the challenge was issued; as many heroics as possible in 12 hours without the use of flying mounts (exception being to get up to netherstorm instances).
Our first challengers, Cookie Crumbles, took the plunge and took out 7 heroics Bot, Mech, SP, SV, UB, SethH & BM collected 25 badges and more importantly had a bucket load of fun (link to full article (http://www.eternalnightfall.net/showthread.php?t=5716)).
Cookie Crumbles are set to take on the challenge once again, after all records are set to be broken :]

Our New PvP Section

Yeah, I know, I have been slacking a bit there. However, I am now what is classified as a student bum so will have more time to dedicate to what I have planned for that section.
However, it seems to have created much more of a buzz about PvPing. One of the major complaints with it is how boring it is when you are on your own. The organising of even partly pre-made battlegrounds or world PvP takes some of the hit off it :]
It also takes the edge of what has been called the "idiot effect". I dont know about you, but being screamed at by a stranger from a different realm takes the fun out of PvP. Luckily, I dont see this so much as a healer any more. Infact Ive seen a huge change in comments from "ZOMG NEED HEALS FFS" to "Great healing, GJ ppl" which is much more pleasent. Ofcourse there is always an exception that proves the rule.
Weekly Nights of PvP are in the planning, I have even written the startup group post, so members of Nightfall keep an eye open for it :] or if someone beats me to the post w00t.
Wrath Beta

The first round of Beta Keys have been sent out and congratulations to all that received one. Personally mines installing right at this moment, not trying to make people jealous ofcourse, doesnt sound like me at all *waves flag of beta install*
Though had a major concerns over the email. It was just plain text with a single image as an attachment. Where normal Blizzard emails will be "greetings <Account name>" this one didnt. Firstly a warning to all those that receive a beta email:
1. The beta page is: https://beta.wow-europe.com/expansion/ though the link they send is to: http://beta.wow-europe.com/ and it redirects you to the above link.
2. They would only ask for your password on a secure server, if it doesnt have https:// then, laugh and close it.
3. The Blizzard run site would NOT ask for the security question password.
4. If you havent signed up for a key they wont be sending you one :P
5. Grammar, if the email doesnt read right it isnt from Blizzard.
6. Remember, just because it says it comes from no-reply@blizzard.com doesnt mean thats where it actually came from. From addresses can be masked, easily, do not use this as your only check.
What dissapointed me was that some of the spam emails look a lot more genuine than the real one, I mean who would trust:

I mean its not usually up to their high standard is it :/ or is that just me being picky ^_^
I recommend this:
If you receive a beta key, go directly to this link: https://beta.wow-europe.com/expansion/ and DO NOT click on the one in the email. If the key works on that site, grats, it was genuine, if not, report it or at minimum spam it here or on the wrath forum so others dont get caught out by it.
If you have any experiences with the beta signup spam, or have any more suggestions please post them, it will be of great benefit to all :]
Monthly Competition
This weeks competition is a wordsearch submitted by Blahaims.
A special prize is being held for the winner that finds the word that is contained within the wordsearch but DOES NOT appear in the list. (has a wow reference).

It is asked not to post completed wordsearches, as others may want to complete it after the competition has ended. Posting of the missing word is allowed but please post WORDSEARCH SOLUTION in big letters at the start of your post. Also, prize will varey depending on what I have in the bank at the time. If after 2 weeks noone has solved the puzzle a clue will be posted.
