Is there anybody out there (Guild recruitment)

Hi Everyone,

Following the Guild recruitment forum entry by Daefaroth, I am hoping I could be considered for joining the NightFall Guild.


Who am I, not quite sure..let me think a second, oh yes, there I am...many seasonings have past since (ah, I remember the Pepper one fondly) where the 20 sided dice were thrown, broken and often chewed (yup they do taste like chicken). Then ceremoniously burning the cardboard cutouts and lead figurines and moving to text adventures on PC's, Unix and even OpenVMS servers. Realising that PC's were taking over the world and started playing RPG's such as Diablo, NWN, Guild Wars and then, just last week, decided to try WoW...sadly realising that I was swayed by the Radio 4 program (I'm not even really that old, just have a passion for 'Sorry I havent a Clue and Just a a Minute'...

So I'm now here with a lvl 14 dead chick and lvl 4 Elf Druid chap looking for a good Guild to help me get a little better acquinted.


In real life I'm a Systems Analyst, VP of our local Astro Society and restore Moggy Minors in my spare time, how could you turn anyone down with such exciting pastimes!!

I would be concerned if I didnt find replies from members that didn't believe that plastic ducks weren't sent from 'Bob', the great spotted Ostrich to watch over us...

I've read the replies so far and I think I've just wet myself laughing lol where are those incontinent pants when you need them!


If I put my serious head on for a moment. I am more than happy to make up a new char in a different Realm, so far I've only really played in the RPG Earthen Realm as a Night-Eld Druid chap (lvl 4) and a girly Undead Warlock (lvl 13). I actually only started playing WoW last week.

I still need a hand just finding my way about, for example I've never really heard of raiding parties and at my current levels the main tasks are to bonk a beastie on the head and nick something. Getting involved in a Guild with more experienced players would be a great help.

I've only been a member a few days myself, but I've not regetted it for a second (well, if I'm honest..........lol) everyones cool and real helpful. Don't worry about not been totally clued up, me either (and from what I can tell same goes for most of the members ;)) but thats the great thing about a supportive guild like this everyone is more than happy to help and answer the silliest of questions!

In game I'm constantly getting offers of help with quests and the more experienced players seem more than happy to share their knowledge.
