Hi all

I am Fatalson from Ginnunga, and seeking for friend who can help me to get Hunter Imba Pet by my opinion :D .
As you all know that pet can be summoned only by Horde so I am looking for some alt who can help me with that.
I have no words to explain how much happy I will be

I assume you're talking about Sian-Rotam (http://petopia.brashendeavors.net/html/mob_sianrotam.html) The White Lion in Winterspring? He has a very slow attack speed (for a cat) but the same avereage dps as all the other cats. This potentialy gives him an advantage when attacking out of stealth especially if BM specced and with the guaranteed pet crit trinket it could make for quite a large first strike attack. Not a lot of cop on casters though as the attack is way too slow to interupt from then on. However he looks exceptionally cool and it's very very rare to see an alliance hunter with it as it's a right bugger to get ;)

I don't have a high level hordie I'm afraid so can't help.

If I remember correctly I think the name is correct, the cat is aqua in colour....Greenish in shade rather than the standard frostsaber purple stripes...I wasnt familiar with his slow attack though.....I was considering doing this with Cleaver, but couldnt figure out how.....

Pet attack speed difference was removed over a year ago, no?

With the nerf of the ubrs spider and so on, and later the improved pet training stuff.

Pet attack speed is still displayed in pet statistics , however innate pet resists were removed

Pets have various attack speeds, but roughly the same dps (that is, slow attack speed pets hit harder). But pet running speed was normalized.

Alright, but what I ment was all cats are the same, all spiders the same and so on, to clarify...

But this isnt the case?

Pure I think you are talking about Shy-Rotam (http://petopia.brashendeavors.net/html/skin_ridingtigerskinaqua.html) Which is Sian's mate I believe. Rak-Shiri is also has the Aqua/Teal colouring. Rak-Shiri is simply a rare so you may actually see her about sometime.

However it is ony Sian that has the slow attack speed. Zvo what they did was take out all the pet movement speed differences so you can no longer get pets that can chase and catch players on elite mounts. The pets do still have differing attack speeds though; think fast sword/slow sword same dps overall but different min-max damage. I maybe wrong though I haven't really checked up in a few months now.

Nope not normalized by family even though spiders usually have fast speeds for example. Cats have actually lot of variety, at least from 1.2 to 2.0 speeds for regular non-rare cats I think. On the other hand every bear has 2.0 attack speed except a rare in winterspring according to petopia.

Nella, on a slightly different note, is one pet easier to get than the other....As I will be dinging 60 hopefully by the weekend i am looking at getting myself a good tanking pet & a good DPS pet....I was thinking one of the above cats would be good as a DPS....

If anyone has any other ideas, that would be ideal...But I dont want to hijack this post as Fatalson stills needs help...

Rak-Shiri if you want somthing that looks a little different, non-elite, just rare So you'll have to camp out a bit. Will require a little training though as she comes in at Lvl57. So might be an idea to start looking now. I have one of the lilac ones from up there pretty common I know but I thought it would look alongside me riding a Winterspring Sabre (yeah - like that's ever going to happen, I've yet to manage to keep more than 400g in my pocket, not to mention the rep grind for it :) )

Or Broken Tooth (http://petopia.brashendeavors.net/html/mob_brokentooth.html) Lvl37 rare in badlands had an exceptionally fast attack speed and therefore good spell interution ability. Would need a lot of training though to get him up to 60. As for tanking I keep UrsaMajor for old time sake (he was my first long term pet). imo Boars and Bears make the best tanks as they have both good armor and good stamina. Although Wolves can make for a nice all-rounder and the piercing howl ability is not a bad free addition if your in party with a couple or more Melee's

Oh yeah, forgot to mention both bears & boars eat conjoured bread (well just about anything in fact) so although bears have no special abilities they are particularly easy to keep happy :) Boars have slightly lower hp than bears but a little more armor plus they can learn both charge & dash which probably makes them the better choice. Although I'm still sticking with Ursa :P Charge is a bit special actually as the that extra damage he does at the start will mean he can hold agro that little bit longer... or you can open up with arrows that little bit sooner. Never tried it out though, need to ask Koju about that.

Boars ftw. besides they are amazing for pvp, ;)

As far as I know the only high level wild ones are the 'ugly as sin' Plagued ones in EPL. Have to go right back to Razorfen Kraul to get the half decent looking armor plated looking variety. Or of course there is always 'Princess' in Elwyn Forrest. Might be a bit painful leveling up a Lvl8 critter though :)
